Congratulations to Rodney Irby – President’s Award Recipient
Rodney Irby, lot attendant at location #003, Lafayette Court, received the President’s Award on April 12, 2011. This Award is in recognition of outstanding customer service and performance. It is a very prestigious Award, as the President/CEO chooses the recipient after he reviews the Compliment Log, combined with the choices from his own observations.
On numerous occasions, Allpro has received kind words from customers regarding Rodney’s work ethic.
“I appreciates his kindness – makes [my] day (every day) by being friendly, nice, and wishing [me] a good day. Also, I appreciate that he has parked [my] car many days when the lot was full . . . he’s a real life saver!”
Thanks Rodney – keep up the outstanding work!

Say “NO” To Panhandling
BuffaloPlace.com has recently launched a new initiative, “Say ‘No’ To Panhandling”, which encourages members of the community not to feel obligated to help a panhandler. BuffaloPlace.com offers solutions if ever encountered and reminds people of the alternatives to helping those in need, such as donating time and/or money to local charities that provide further assistance.
Here are some suggestions to consider:
- Always be aware of your surroundings
- Be polite but assertive when asking a panhandler to leave you alone
- NEVER display money or where you keep it
- Always report any confrontation that uses physical or verbal force
- View any stranger with caution
- Consider making a donation to a charity of your choice or The City Mission
Allpro Parking is dedicated to bettering the community and supports the new initiative to make Downtown Buffalo a more enjoyable place to live, work and play.
We are pleased to announce our recent nomination for the Buffalo Niagara Business Ethics Award (BNBEA).

Is It Better To Back In?
In the parking industry, we have to expect the occasional accident and Allpro Parking acknowledges our responsibility to investigate the underlying circumstances quickly and thoroughly and to make it right.
But wouldn’t it be great if our parkers could avoid those accidents? In a recent web post, a blogger discusses the benefits of backing into a parking space versus pulling in. Take a look and maybe we all can take a step toward decreasing parking lot accidents.

A Suggestion From Mr. Ford Himself
In a recent article on NPR.com, William Clay Ford, Jr., Executive Chairman of Ford Motor Company, was interviewed regarding FORD’s preparation for the gas price increase. Ford discusses fuel-saving technologies, ‘electrifying’ vehicles and other fuel efficient alternatives to help the environment but also to save people money.
Sometimes people tend to miss a simple fact; driving around searching for a parking space can be wasteful on gas and harmful to the environment. That’s when Mr. Ford himself made (what we think to be) a very wise suggestion.
“Reserving a parking space before you actually leave for your trip, because today, in major urban areas, the majority of fuel is spent by people looking for parking places. And so if you could have a pre-reserved parking place and also real-time information in terms of availability of parking places, that will help.”
Conveniently, Allpro Parking has just the thing…reservations online. Avoid searching for a spot and reserve a guaranteed parking space online at allproparking.com/reservations.
